Peggy’s Cove Tops the List !
ShoutOuts for Canada sent Out a Facebook Question asking: ‘What do you like best about where you live in Canada?’ I live in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. When I spent a year away as a youth exchange student.I really grew to appreciate some of the many things I had taken for granted:changing fall leaves, all the water within walking distance, the rolling hills, the wildlife on our doorstep, and yes-especially the snow!.Sometimes absence makes the heart grow fonder. One of the things I;m enjoying about this project is getting to meet so many wonderful people from across this great country of ours, and our family was thrilled to hear what it is you love about your corner of Canada.Discovery Toys in Winnipeg with Melinda started the ball rolling, and her answer made us feel warm and fuzzy all over, while filling us with Canadian pride.:’I am right in the middle of Canada!! Being in the middle is nice and cozy!’
Then Peggy's Cove Area Festival of the Arts answered: ‘The beauty that surrounds us and the artists that interpret it’,http://peggyscoveareaarts.blogspot.com/ and really got things rolling by sharing our question on their page Peggy's Cove Area Added: Enjoying Mother Nature's playground in the Peggy's Cove Region
http://www.peggyscoveregion.com/ ·Margaret Jeddry chimed in: ‘Nova Scotia! Check the 45 webcams around the province in such places as Peggy's Cove, Halifax, Yarmouth, Cape Breton and the now famous Lobster Cam!’ That lobster cam sounded so fascinating,we just had to take a look:
We discovered the following sign is true!
Take a peek at your own peril! Nova Scotia Lobster Cam
Rosemary Alders‘ answer ‘Oh Peggy’s Cove, How I do love thee !’ made us want to visit this region of Nova Scotia even more!
To thank Peggy’s Cove Festival of the Arts, for sharing our question on their wall, and the wonderful answers gathered, we would be pleased to feature up to 5 photos of their choosing of the same size on the Nova Scotia Service section on our Welcome tab for 1 month ending October 20th, 2011 (max width 528 px)
So what do you love about your corner of Canada?
